The cell phone industry has experienced spectacular growth since the introduction of the first handheld cell phone in 1983. More than 4 billion people worldwide have a cell phone, and around 95% of them have a subscription.<\/p>\n

The cell phone industry is a competitive one, with many manufacturers vying to produce the best cell phone and provide the most efficient service. Understanding how to work with the other companies involved in the industry is the key to success.<\/p>\n

History of the cell phone industry<\/h3>\n

The first cell phone was created in 1973 by Martin Cooper<\/a> at Motorola<\/a>. In 1983, the first commercial cell phone network was launched. At the time, it was still virtually impossible for consumers to own their own cell phone.<\/p>\n

In 1984, the Federal Communications Commission authorized the use of cell phones in cars. Once this authorization was granted, the popularity of cell phones began to rise dramatically.
