All you need to know about Sales Brochure design and printing
The sales brochure is an original communication medium, increasingly used by companies, but whose impact is still underestimated. We’ll explain why the sales brochure is an essential part of your corporate communications.
Sales Brochure objectives
The Sales Brochure should be concise, not very long. Ideally, we recommend that it never exceeds one-sided A4. But ideally, it should fit on one page, one side only, in A4 or A5 format.
It should be clear, and summarize your sales offer. Depending on how you prospect, you’ll need two types of copy: a sales brochure to give to the customer to whom you’ve had time to present your offer, and a sales brochure for the prospect with whom you haven’t yet had a chance to talk.
Keep your arguments short and to the point. Restate the customer need you’re addressing, and don’t quote more than three figures. In terms of images, we recommend something rather sober and uncluttered. In fact, don’t hesitate to have it produced by communications professionals. There is a cost involved, but it’s nothing compared to the sales generated by a successful document.
Contents of the Sales Brochure
We therefore recommend that you don’t include too many images in your Sales brochure, ideally one or two at the most. Your logo, however, is a must.
In terms of text, don’t overdo it, but don’t underdo it either. There’s a fine balance to be struck. We recommend that you start by talking about the need you’re addressing. Then, mention a maximum of three commercial arguments. Then end with your prices “From … ” or a tempting formula like “Free estimate”.
Finally, don’t forget to leave your contact details, otherwise your prospect will never be able to get back to you.
