F.A.Q
Digital printing is a printing method that transfers a digital image directly onto various substrates (paper, vinyl, fabric, etc.) without the need for traditional printing plates. This means great flexibility, fast turnaround times and the ability to print variable quantities, even small runs.
We can print on a wide range of substrates, including different types of paper (coated, uncoated, recycled, photo…), adhesive vinyl, tarpaulin, canvas, fabric, PVC, and many others. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Digital printing offers several advantages, including faster turnaround times, the ability to print small and medium quantities at a more affordable cost, easy personalization (variable data), and high image quality. Offset printing is generally more economical for very large quantities.
We prefer high-resolution PDF files (300 DPI minimum) with bleed (usually 3 mm on each side) and crop lines. We also accept JPEG, TIFF, AI, and PSD formats, but a PDF is recommended to guarantee optimum quality and avoid font or layout problems.
The bleed is an additional area of your design that extends beyond the final format of your document. It’s crucial because when cutting, a slight inaccuracy can occur. The bleed ensures that there will be no unsightly white edges on your finished product.
We will check your file before printing and inform you of any potential problems (insufficient resolution, lack of bleed, incorrect color mode, etc.). We can offer you correction services or ask you to provide us with a corrected file.
